A Mount Joy man will serve at least 2 years in prison – and 14 years under supervision – for sex abuse of a boy last year.
Bill C. Anderson, 66, pleaded guilty in March to four felonies regarding the molestation and illegal contact in February and March 2016.
Anderson was recently sentenced in Lancaster County Court to 2 to 4 years in prison, followed by 10 years of probation, according to a plea agreement arranged by Assistant District Attorney Fritz Haverstick.
Lancaster County Judge James Cullen accepted the plea terms and ordered sentence, which includes a condition that Anderson register his whereabouts for the rest of his life.
Anderson, formerly of Penn Court, was an acquaintance of the victim’s family.
In all, Anderson pleaded to aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors, and unlawful contact with a minor.
Mount Joy Borough police Detective Kyle Hosking filed charges.
