A suspected drug dealer is behind bars after detectives found $45,000 in heroin at his Lancaster city home.
Cesar Bastardo-Rosario, 26, is charged with felony drug-dealing regarding the July 11 raid at a home in the first block of West Strawberry Street.
Following an ongoing investigation, Lancaster County Drug Task Force detectives found at that home 157 grams of heroin – and 119 grams of a cutting agent – along with drug-packaging supplies.
Detectives said the heroin, if broken down for street sales, is worth an estimated $45,000.
Detectives also found $26,155 in cash and an “owe sheet,” a written document of who owed Bastardo-Rosario money at the time of the raid.
The Task Force said Bastardo-Rosario was dealing heroin in the city and around Lancaster County.
The investigation is ongoing.
Bastardo-Rosario is at Lancaster County Prison on $250,000 bail. He is presumed innocent.
It is at least the Drug Task Force’s second arrest of an upper-level heroin dealer within a week. Angel “Fly” Galarza, 59, of Lancaster, was charged after detectives found $15,000 in heroin and $35,000 in cash in July 5 searches.
