An East Lampeter Township man will serve at least two years in prison for having child pornography.
David Mishler Jr., 26, recently pleaded guilty to seven felonies regarding an investigation last year that uncovered dozens of lewd images and numerous videos.
In exchange for the guilty plea, Mishler Jr. will serve 2 to 10 years in prison, in accordance with a plea agreement arranged by Assistant District Attorney Janie Swinehart.
Lancaster County Judge Merrill Spahn Jr. accepted the terms and ordered sentence.
Mishler Jr.’s father, 56-year-old David Mishler Sr., also is charged with similar crimes. His case is pending.
The Lancaster County Computer Crimes Task Force initially uncovered the lewd materials, which were traced to a home on Lotus Circle, where the Mishlers live.
Detectives seized numerous computers, DVDs, and other devices which contained child pornography.
As part of Mishler Jr.’s plea agreement, a count of manufacturing child pornography was dropped.
East Lampeter Township police Detective Preston Gentzler filed charges.
