[ARCHIVED] Thief who Targeted Homes, Vehicles, Stores Jailed up to 28 Years

Keith Snow

A Conestoga man who targeted victims in at least 6 Lancaster County municipalities will serve up to 28 years in state prison.

Keith Andrew Snow robbed a store at knifepoint, stole vehicles, a shopper’s purse, and burglarized homes during the spree in 2014 and 2015.

Snow recently pleaded guilty in Lancaster County Court to numerous counts, including felony robbery, burglary and theft.

In exchange for the plea, Snow will serve 10 to 28 years in state prison, according to Assistant District Attorney Janie Swinehart, who negotiated the plea agreement.

County Judge Jeffery Wright accepted the plea and ordered sentence.

Snow, 29, committed the crimes to support a crack cocaine addiction.

In the May 2015 knifepoint robbery at a Speedway in East Lampeter Township, he told a clerk to hand over money or he’d stab her.

Also during the spree:
- He stole electronics and jewelry from homes in Strasburg and Conestoga Township.
- He stole a woman’s purse on North Reading Road in Ephrata.
- He stole pickup trucks in Pequea and West Lampeter townships.
- He stole cigarettes from a convenience store in Pequea Township.

As part of sentence, he is ordered to pay over $5,000 in restitution.

East Lampeter, Ephrata, Southern Regional, Strasburg and West Lampeter police filed charges.
