A Manor Township man is headed to state prison for a collection of hundreds of child-pornography photos and videos.
Scott David Dow, 33, was recently sentenced in Lancaster County Court to 2 to 5 years in state prison, followed by 12 years of probation.
Dow previously pleaded guilty to four felonies regarding the 450 photos and 19 videos found during a search of his College Avenue home, according to Assistant District Attorney Janie Swinehart.
County Judge Margaret Miller also ordered Dow to comply with sex-offender conditions and register his whereabouts with police, under Megan’s Law, for the rest of his life.
As part of those conditions, he is banned from having social-media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, and Match.com. His use of computers will be monitored by parole/probation officials.
State police caught Dow sharing the materials during an undercover online operation. Trooper John Sours filed charges.
Dow, during a January search of his home, admitted to using computers to share child pornography.
