[ARCHIVED] Man Released from Burn Center, Arrested for Robbery and Fiery Car Crash

One of three men sought in connection with a pair of armed robberies last week and a fiery crash that followed is in custody.

Strasburg Borough police arrested 23-year-old Kervin Perales Friday night, picking him up upon his release from Crozer Chester Medical Center in Delaware County.

Perales sustained serious burns after he fled from a burning car Monday morning in West Lampeter Township, shortly after store robberies in Mountville and Strasburg.

Perales is charged with robbery (for the Strasburg store), conspiracy, fleeing police - all felonies - and related charges.

District Judge Denise Commins arraigned Perales on Saturday and set bail at $125,000, which hasn't been posted by Monday.

Strasburg police Officer Bradley Klunk and East Lampeter police Detective Christopher Jones filed charges.

Police are still seeking two males who entered the stores, armed and wearing masks, stealing cash and cigarettes.

Anyone with information about those two individuals should contact police at 1-800-957-2677.
