A Lititz woman on parole for a store robbery spree was again sentenced to state prison – for three more store robberies, including the same store from the past spree.
Kathleen E. Moore, 52, had recently been paroled when she robbed three Lancaster County stores on the afternoon of Jan. 4.
Moore targeted Walgreens, Giant and Weis stores in Lancaster and Manheim townships, obtaining a combined $900.
The Weis store on Millersville Pike was targeted in both sprees. Moore was sentenced in 2017 to 3 to 12 years in prison for the previous spree.
On Monday, Lancaster County Judge Howard Knisely sentenced Moore to 4½ to 10 years in prison for the Jan. 4 spree. The hearing was conducted via Lifesize video conference.
Moore pleaded guilty to felony counts of robbery and misdemeanor theft in exchange for the prison term, in accordance with a plea agreement arranged by Assistant District Attorney Mark Fetterman.
Surveillance cameras recorded the robberies, and police recognized Moore from prior investigations.
Moore told police she needed money to repay drug-related debts.
Manheim Township police Officer Kenneth Smith filed charges.
