A Manheim Township man will serve up to a decade prison for possessing and sharing child pornography.
Timothy Wolf recently pleaded guilty in Lancaster County Court to five felonies regarding an investigation last year that involved the seizure of a computer from Wolf’s Valleybrook Drive condo.
Wolf, 56, will serve 2 to 10 years in prison, in accordance with an agreement arranged by Assistant District Attorney Janie Swinehart.
As part of sentence, he must register his whereabouts, under Megan’s Law, for 25 years.
Lancaster County Judge Merrill Spahn Jr. accepted the plea terms and ordered sentence.
Manheim Township police filed charges, assisted in the investigation by the Lancaster County Computer Crimes Unit.
Detectives discovered Wolf was sharing videos and photos containing child pornography, and eventually raided Wolf’s home where he lived alone.
Police found over 500 images on the seized computer, which also had installed software to conceal internet activity and permanently erase deleted files.
