A Lancaster man was recently convicted of felony drug-dealing regarding the seizure of over 1,000 bags of heroin.

Angel Galarza Sr., 61, was not present for his trial last week in Lancaster County Court.

A local jury deliberated 20 minutes before returning guilty verdicts to felony counts of delivery and possession with intent to deliver heroin.

The Lancaster County Drug Task Force filed charges regarding the seizure of:

- 1,260 bags of heroin from a vehicle, storage unit, and safety deposit box on July 5, 2017.

- 126 “Super Power” stamped bags of heroin that Galarza had near Park City Center on March 2, 2017.

Galarza posted bail via a bondsman in 2017.

Anyone with information about Galarza is asked to contact their local police department. Tips can be submitted via this CrimeWatch page.

Galarza formerly lived in the 900 block of East King Street, Lancaster city. He also has ties to Philadelphia.

Assistant District Attorney Deborah Greathouse presented testimony at the two-day trial from four Drug Task Force detectives and a Lancaster city police sergeant.
