What is in an Irruption? Snowy Owls and their Habits

Saturday, January 13, 2018

All Ages

What is an irruption? What does it have to do with Snowy Owls? Find out these answers and more with Naturalist Brandon Pentz as we take a look into our local owl species and occasional visitors from the North. Participants will also dissect the contents of an owl pellet. This program is geared for ages 6 – 9, but all are welcome. Call (717) 295-2055 to register by noon on Friday, January 12.  Fee of $4.50 per participant includes one pellet; $1.00 per helper and $3.50 per additional pellet.
