Opportunities

The Lancaster County Archives preserves nearly 300 years of archival documents originally created within the various County departments beginning in 1729.  Many of our records are invaluable pieces of the past for genealogists and those researching a 'house history.'  Help us preserve and make our records accessible to the public.

The county is unable to offer paid internships at this time, however, we are willing to work with academic institutions to develop independent studies or credit based projects. Internships / volunteer work can also serve as experience for a resume.

Get Involved

The Archives is open from 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday (except county holidays). We can offer flexible schedules within these times.
