On Thursday, April 13th we had the dedication and official reopening of the oldest iron bridge in Lancaster County, located on Iron Bridge Road. This bridge was constructed in 1898 and is an important part of Lancaster County's heritage. The County recently refurbished it as part of our bridge improvement program. This program takes fiscally responsible steps to improve our transportation network. Commissioners were happy to be joined by students from the nearby Spring Grove school, a one room school house located near the bridge.
