Spring migration is at its height during the month of May and bird activity at its best during early morning. Plan to get up with the birds for a 1-2 mile guided walk with Naturalist Emily Broich to marvel at spring migrants both arriving and passing through. We will work on birding by ear through courtship songs we may hear. Target species will include Baltimore Oriole, Indigo Bunting, Common Yellowthroat and other warblers, Wood Duck and possibly shorebird migrants along the river. Dress for the weather and morning dew. Call (717) 295-2055 to register by noon on Friday, May 19. No younger siblings please. $2.00 per person.
